I came, I saw, I cocked it up…and I started again!
OK can somebody tell me where the week went? I actually thought it was Thursday and it is Friday, now I really want to know where the hell did Wednesday go??? I remember Monday, I remember Tuesday, I know what I did on Thursday but I remember nothing from Wednesday? Nothing at all!
Did I:
Answers on a postcard please!
The big news today was of course the passing of Michael Jackson, and no doubt the stress he was under for his upcoming UK tour will be investigated by many.
Let us not forget too that today also witnessed the passing of Farrah Fawcett, after a long battle with cancer.
A sad day for the entertainment world indeed.
Well OK that’s about as true as the Star Trek statement about reading Shakespeare in the original Klingon, but it should be known to all that the Russians (well Soviets at the time) actually created one of the best theatrical Holmes there is. Created in the late 70’s and early to mid 80’s they covered 12 of the original stories over 11 episodes. Hardly seen in the ‘west’ you can check it out online now:
So the British F1 GP will be starting in a few hours, and for once it looks like Button is not going to win (though no doubt Ross Brawn has some plan to avoid this!).
I have watched F1 in several countries, USA, Russia, Spain, UK, Australia, Canada BUT I have to say the BBC comentary is by far the best. Yes its true several countries do use the UK feeds, Australia for instance, however they have advert breaks and go back to their own comentators from time to time. Also many countries have no F1 feed at all, or do not show it live…. so what can you do?
I will answer that question in the next few days….
For now what should you do if you want to drive an F1 car? Well you could try and become an F1 driver, or you could at try a single seater car at a track near you. OK its not an F1 car, but trust me its going to be more than enough for most of you!
Those in the UK can take a look at Drivers Choice, where you can drive a 147mph single seater racer!
Ok so what is going on here then? Well its quite simple really this is all part of the master plan. No not some Dr Evil type plan to take over the world, rather more of an aim to put to work the good things I have learnt from Wealthy Affiliate during my time there.
Some of you may have seen their site before, or perhaps think you have seen something similar elsewhere. Most places try to sell you a specific item (normally some crappy ebook) and I will be honest there is a bit of that at Wealthy Affiliate too.
BUT forget about that as there is more.
The site contains a whole host of tools, applications and services to assist you in starting up as an online marketing affiliate. Most importantly it is NOT all about marketing marketing, no that’s not a mistake or a double type.
Too often affiliate marketing is about selling affiliate marketing, which is about as useful as making a book called Learn to Read a Self Study Guide. No what makes Wealthy Affiliate great is it teaches you how to find real goods and services to market. It shows you how to setup your sites, write your articles, work with google Adsense, Yahoo!, Squidoo and more.
As I said before you do need to cut through a bit of the crap, which I presume is there for those people who think they can make a fast buck and thus subsequently always get ripped off. YOU need to work at it, they will provide the ‘how to’ but it’s down to your hard work to actually put it all together. Allow yourself at least 2 months, and if I am honest allow a year of dedication to really get going. Then you will really be having fun.
