I came, I saw, I cocked it up…and I started again!
Sometimes I really miss a bit of Moscow driving, sure it was crazy but it did have a certain element of fun in it at times!
I have had this domain parked for a while, even let it drop for a while, but really I should be using it.
I really enjoyed this one, OK its Sky News Australia and not the UK one but still it was well worth the watch.
Its near the top of this page.
Basically it’s a couple of guys in Australia who claim to have made a DIY free electricity generator that once started produces electricity forever and ever and ever, a bit like the Energiser Bunny! The free electricity is generated by the power of magnet (I thought they were for curing Arthritis???).
Now what I want is an electric generator that produces free magnets…
As soon as they release the pocket watch version I am in!
It would seem just about the only Quad core laptop in Australia from any major brand is made by HP and it weighs 42tons… so in the end I went for a Dell with a P9550 in it, why Dell? Well I like my laptop to have a good screen, does not have to be large but must be high resolution. Dell has laptops with some really high resolutions, however I plumped for a 1920×1080 16" display which should be more than enough (I have good eyes so its not a problem to see). Upgraded to the RGB display as well, supposed to be good but as I have never seen one I dont know for sure if it was worth it yet!
Anyway ordered it on Sunday… Dell Cancelled the Order on Tuesday, did they call me? Nope. They had some issues with my credit card, good old Barclaycard blocking things again! Had the same problems with Dell UK in February this year, went through several cards and then ended up buying a Samsung unit elsewhere as Dell just refused to work for me!
So I ordered it again today on a different card, we shall see if the order goes through this time… If it does I guess I might get it by Christmas.
