   They always say not to be serious but when I do, the girls all devote all there time to trying to make fools of themselves and get enormous amusement when I make a confused look or smile at all.

   What a load of bullshit, girls are very superficial, if they like how you look you can be a drooling moron and they’ll go out with you. If a girl doesn’t pay attention to you move on it’s not worth it.

   Self deprecating humor is a bad idea! Shows no confidence, Who writes your scrips? Woman are the worst critics, especially to each other. Being a woman is not a virtue. Maybe you shouldn’t give advice!

    i disagree with her advice. Embarrassing oneself is a sign of low self esteem. If a guy intentionally falls down etc , it makes him look like a dumbass rather than funny. If the fall is accidental, it could be smart to just laugh it away.
    I think guys should basically be confident, make neutral but really funny jokes minus the desperation.

    @AGpeacemaker Yep, too much self deprecation and the woman tends to think you’re weak, every once an a while is fine. Tell a moderate joke then casually get edgier, but don’t go too dirty or too hurtful unless you know for certain she’s into that.
