Just spent the day in the Hinterland, and it was kind of nice to get away from the beaches, sea, canals and general crowds of the Gold Coast. Walking through the forests up there has a sort of Jurassic park feel to it, things like Antarctic Beach trees really make the place seem old! There are also some stunning look outs and some pretty high waterfalls…. Really worth checking out.
