OK this should be simple, I want a new laptop but can I find one that fits? No.

Are my demands so high, not really.

Number 1 I want a good screen, a really good screen. This is the most important part of the laptop to me, and every laptop I have ever bought has had a top notch screen. So a screen with 768 or 900 pixels vertical will not cut it for me, I need maximum pixels. I don’t care so much for the size, I have good eyes (I use a tiny Sony right now which has a really small high resolution screen). So 1080 or 1200 vertical pixels is what I want.

Next I want a Quad core, yes yes I know things are not optimized for Quads etc etc. However we have Windows 7 coming, my laptops last me 3 years, and as such I want a Quad core.

Next? No that’s it. That is all I want. So why is it so hard? Because in Australia almost nobody sells laptops with Quad cores it seems, the only ones that do exist weight about 6 Tons.

So somebody tell me of a Sub 3kg high resolution screen Quad core laptop here in Oz and you have a sale!
