I came, I saw, I cocked it up…and I started again!
Do you really need to create a page to sell a product? These days logic states you should make a page which acts as a buffer, a pre-sell, before you pass your customer on to the real sales page. However if you are article marketing then you have already done one pre-sell in your article, don’t you think all these pages and pages of information before you even get to the sales page puts people off? Why not direct link?
Well mainly because these days you cant. Many article directories and of course Google Adwords do not allow you effectively use this as an option, but you can link to your own domain. So why not just forward your domain straight to the sales page? Sure the page has to be good, but if you pick any site which is ranking high in the Alexa ratings then you can be pretty sure its doing something right.
So while building you own site is a great idea for those long term goal, or that mega site which you know lots of information about and can make really informative, for those quick flash in the pan get the money now projects just forward them on.
